• How can I download my uni calendar?
Just after creating your account, we will ask you your uni credentials and we will automatically download your uni calendar. If you missed this step, you can click on the “download” icon on the calendar page (top right corner) or you click on “Calendar Sync” on the Settings Page.
• Is it safe to enter my uni credentials?
We take security very seriously. All data sent to and from our server is encrypted. Your university login credentials are not stored if you do not accept the automatic synchronisation.
We only collect schedule information (course code, time, dates, instructor, location) and no other information is collected. We do not sell or distribute any data to third parties.
• What are the supported universities?
As of now, here is the list of supported universities:
– University of Sydney (USYD)
– University of Technology of Sydney (UTS)
– Western Sydney University (WSU)
– Australian Catholic University (ACU)
– University of Melbourne
– Deakin University
– Curtin University
We are working hard, to build a new importer for each university! If your university is not in this list, send us an email at email@example.com or register your interest here. We will add it on our to-do list and contact you as soon as work is done!
In the meantime, you can create your own events and download your google calendar (might be synced with your university)! You will not access the automatic class chat but you will be able to start managing your time and check your friends’ timetable. That’s already pretty cool isn’t it!?
• My Uni is not synced, what can I do?
Unfortunately, you can only import your timetable directly from some supported universities (check the question above). In the meantime, you can create your own events and download your google calendar (might be synced with your university)! You will not access the automatic class chat but you will be able to start managing your time and check your friends’ timetable. That’s already pretty cool isn’t it!?
• What does automatic sync means?
In the Settings, you can click on calendar sync and auto sync. This means we will store your uni &/or Google credentials to update your calendar every day at midnight.
We take this very seriously so this data is encrypted.
COMMUNITY – FRIENDS
• How can I find friends?
On the homepage click on the “Friends+” icon, search your friends by name, browse users already on the app or search by university/subject and start building your friends’ circle! If your friends are not on the platform, invite them or share your profile! To add them, click on “Add friends” when viewing their profile.
• Who can view my calendar?
Only your friends can view your calendar and you need to accept their friend request before that happens. Be reassured though they cannot see what you are doing just if you are busy or not (event name and info is hidden).
• How do the class chats work?
When you download your uni calendar, we automatically create class chats from your course code. Anyone in your class, will join this class chat when downloading his uni calendar!
You can leave/mute this class chat if you don’t want to hear from your classmates 😉
• How can I claim a deal?
Click on the deal your are interested in on the Deals Page, copy the coupon code and click on “Get now” to go to the brand’s website.
If you cannot see the coupon code, it means you haven’t verified your student account. These deals are only accessible for uni students! If you are a student, go to settings > MyUni and enter your uni credentials. Then you will be able to see the coupon codes!
